    I think I just spotted a tumbleweed.

Catch it before it gets away!

I remember this place used to be cool.
  4.
It's a shame, isn't it. Young people today and their MTV, no attention span anymore.
  5.
    Completely dead, or partially dead?
  6.
I'd say persistent vegetative state, or brain dead.

Technically still alive, but it's only a matter of time before they decide to turn the machines off.

    Say your goodbyes, people.
  7.
Not sure if it's premature or breaking forum etiquette to ask this, but where've all you DO regulars gone these days?

Is it now all blog comments and Twitter?
  8.
There's that. Plus work, babies and other grown up stuff I'd say.

It's probably time to move over and let the next generation of young, bright eyed web folk take over... while we exploit their talents and pay them shit salaries. Circle of life. Circle of life.

I find myself interacting with a brave few from here on Twitter. I think that's kinda replaced this place. It was seldom a place for lengthy insights, at least in recent times. I think most of us have just condensed our thoughts and shares to 140 characters.
  10.
... what are your guys’ Twitter accounts then?
  11.

    Maybe this is the solution?

I do Twitter (linky in profile) but until now I've just been using it to follow a handful of sources rather than chat, as you'll see from my sprawling history.

But I can change, honest! Follow me and I'll make more of an effort to be more active, I promise!!

    (Dignity??)

I still twitter (@jimstafford) and follow many of the more interesting DO reprobates (with a strong London design leaning if I'm honest).

Not sure where the design kidz are hiding these days. Tumblr?
