I've just bought a new house and need to completely replace the kitchen, having not bought any electrical goods for the kitchen before I thought I'd ask some advice on what brands are good and which ones to avoid. I want to get a built in oven (electric) and a gas hob, plus a built in dishwasher and a tall fridge/freezer.
I've heard that neff make good ovens, and have been looking at samsung fridge/freezers. Would be interested in anyones experiences either good or bad.
I'd avoid Smeg, wether build quality IMO is very poor. We installed all Smeg appliances in our last kitchen and I was very disappointed in them. Plan to try all Siemens in the new kitchen in our current house.
humm, just ordered a smeg dishwasher as it looked like the one with the best features and versatility, it's got positive reviews online. Hope it will be ok. We've just installed a samsung built in oven as the existing oven spewed out smoke every time we used it even after several cleans. So far the oven looks pretty good although we've only used it twice so far.
Alex, I've looked at a lot of the bosch stuff I'm not that keen on the styling of a lot of it unfortunately as it is probably really good. Plus the other half wants everything in black which does cut down the choices some what, everything needs to match the washing machine.
I've got a Neff oven, hob and microwave - bought them all new when I fitted a new kitchen like you. All still going strong and like the styling, so they get a thumbs up from me :)
