    i see your point - balanced against that is that they all start somewhere, and google already has a loyal and admiring user/fan base. added to that i think facebok has become too much the common mans tool, and an air of first-in exclusivity will be (wrongly) attached to moving - interweb history has had big sites with big users bases before and something always comes along and upsets an apple cart that was previously thought un-upsetable

    Yeah, I've got a Google+ account (and the Android app too 'cos I'm all fancy).

    Don't know if they're letting anybody else in at the minute though...

    if forums were the beginning of sharing knowledge in a public way -the wrong called web 2.0- nowadays im not sure we can still name this facebook era, as 2.0. if it is, what is 1.0 ? it was really the first version of shared knowledge virtually?

    anyway, the prediction of google+ just confirms how stupidly we the users behave.

    this social networks have become the screening which facebook, youtube, twitter, and others, hide the fact that millions of unpaid users are increasing their own economic value and profits tru the generation of "content", pageviews and time spent.
