I thought this was raised here before, but couldn't find the thread. I sold my personal Macbook Pro a little while ago, since I have a better employer-provided one. I had originally planned on waiting for this latest MBP refresh and I'd use the funds from the sale to buy a new one. But now I'm thinking it's pointless to have to laptops. So I've been leaning towards an iMac instead. It's more power for less money, and a refresh of those should be coming soon as well. But, can you use the new ones as an extended display for the MBP?
So basically I'd have a 27" Cinema Display for when I have my laptop around, and a permanent workhorse for the home office, at least that's what I'm hoping for.
