1.
Just in case anyone wasn't aware, it's Valentine's Day this Saturday. Just thought I'd mention it so nobody forgets and suffers the cold-shoulder from their partners.

    Anyone got anything interesting planned?
  2.

We're going away for a couple of days next week, nothing major - just a chance to relax for a couple of days. Didn't really plan it for Valentines day, more for our anniversary (end of feb) but got a good deal early.

    :)

  3.
I've booked a day at an eco spa thing. Will be nice to chill out, though I'm covered in bruises from paintball at the weekend so will no doubt get some funny looks ;)

Then M&S meal deal in the evening!
  4.
I'm being cooked for! Which could be amazing or a terrifying night of "Mmmmmmdelicious" acting...
  5.
had a major falling out on saturday - this time i'm thinking this was final... not a good situation a week before valentines.
  6.
Could have saved you a few quid mind.....

Sorry - that was awful! Hope you get things sorted.
  7.
Nothing major as we are saving for a few holidays this year.

Electric Cinema in Notting Hill then onto Taqueria for some eats.
  8.
^^ Pretty much the same as there. No big gifts, since we want to put money into our holiday, so maybe a cinema/dinner thing. Well, assuming there's actually something we both want to watch at the cinema.
  9.
I'll be on a Delta Airways plane stuck between fat americans on my way to Salt Lake City to meet up with the other half for a bit of snowboarding action ... it's going to be a long valentines day.
  10.

Might buy a nice bottle of that fizzy french wine stuff* (AKA Bollinger or maybe Laurent Perrier Rose if I'm feeling extravagant) and cook a decent meal for my good lady as we're mostly skint, and every restaurant in the known universe will be full of cunty couples staring lovingly into each-others candle-lit eyes whilst consuming mediocre food from a suddenly over-priced menu.

*I'm not generally that big on champagne, but do like Bollinger. I fucking hate Moet though (unless I'm already pissed enough not to notice).

  11.
You absolutely can't beat Laurent Perrier Rose. Shame it's around £20 more than is used to be 3 - 4 years ago. £45 was bearable, but £65 is a bit steep.
  12.

Missus hates valentines day, I hate valentines day ... got a little bit of work to do in the day, will probably cook dinner, but there's nothing unusual there. Quite fancy the cinema on sunday, loads of stuff I'd like to catch right now.

  13.
Bollinger is my favourite too, a really smooth drink, hardly any of that nasty acid taste you get with Moet. I was given a bottle of Cristal last year and wanted to hate it on principle, but it was actually bloody nice stuff.
  14.
I'm up for trying out the Laurent Perrier Rose for the mrs (as she likes the Rose variety) her current favourite is Veuve Cliquot, is the Lauren better than that in anyones opinion?
  15.

I'm being cooked for! Which could be amazing or a terrifying night of "Mmmmmmdelicious" acting...

    Haha, been there before!

  16.
LP Rose is very nice. Wont be disappointed. Better than the Veuve imo.
  17.
    Prosecco FTW
  18.
    Off to the football :)

    M&S Valentines dine-in later on.

Who said romance was dead! Not doing a great deal as we're off to Edinburgh for a few days next week.
  19.
indeed on the prosecco call there.

my lady isnt really into the valentine thing but i reckon some flowers, NB must find my Bel Biv Davo cassette, a few bottles of spanish fly - cough cough i mean italiano fizz - and a nicely prepared meal that has me blootered by 7 pm, followed by a few knee tremblers of the freshly gathered shrubs from the valentine tamborine man, oh i may even be a wee bit special and chop it fine mix with olive oil and marinate a couple of jackie-ball-bass sirloins to flash fry and scoff.

    valentines,, done
