    Jord - I thought exactly the same thing about LMS when I watched it last week. The full-on sentiment-shite was so contrived... I thought it was trying to be a bit napoleon dynamite-ish as well, with the type of shots and stuff. It got rave reviews everywhere, so I expected it to be really good.

    With Jord and Aaron on Little Miss Sunshine. Tried too hard to be quirky but ended up just being contrived and shit. Although maybe I just didn't 'get it'

    Having said this, every movie should have a grandfather who's addicted to narcotics (see Broken Vessels, Little Miss Sunshine, etc)

    I liked Little Miss Sunshine. I also enjoyed A Guide To Recognizing Your Saints, which I watched last night.

    Hostel 2 - Gruesome as fuck scene with the girl upside down, but otherwise, i thought this was pretty good.

    1-08-08 - Or slusho or whatever its being called...started and was over before I could make head nor tail of what was going on...as a trailer-would I be going "must see that"....would I fuck.

    Not watched:

    Exorcism of Emily Rose, Lives of Others, Turistas, Number 23 - Oh dear, sounds shit according to the above posts, Hard Candy - Sounds well dodgy, but am told its really good, Old Boy - Can't imagine I'll go on a killing spree, House of Sand and Fog - Has Jennifer Connelly in it, rararrararrrrr......

    cashback-great film, thoroughly 'english' but given the version we watched, it translates to other languages. Bra=good. (swedish). I rest my case.

    Agreed. It's a terrible shame he's become such a cringeworthingly unfunny cunt recently though. If I ever see 'Steve Martin and Queen Latifah in...' ever again I'll see it as a sign of the death of civilisation.

    Bourne Ultimatum.

    Best film I've seen in a very, very long time. As action movies go, this is about the pinnacle.

    I've enjoyed them so far (Bourne films) though I had to overcome the 'different from the book' problem.

    Watched Hollywoodland the other night. Good film, well acted and an intriguing story well told. The only real downside was the ending, I got the feeling they shot several endings and couldn't decide which one to use, so they put them all in there.
